Being a Bengali is a matter of great pride for our rich culture. Rabindranath Tagore's contribution to the Bengali as well as Indian literature can be gauged from the respect his name demands at every utterance. He was a prolific writer. He was born on the 7th May 1861, in Jorasanko Thakurbari . A true poet, he wrote many poems, stories novels, plays and what not.  He also founded his own school of art and music. He received Nobel Prize for his famous classic 'Gitanjali' in 1913.

          Today in order to pay tribute to this legend, Divya Arya Vidya Public School celebrated Kabiguru's 162nd birth anniversary with joy and pride.
