GENERAL GUIDELINE FOR STUDENTS

1. Attend classes regularly: Regular attendance is crucial for academic success. Attend all your classes, pay attention, and actively participate in classroom discussions.
2. Understand the curriculum: Familiarize yourself with the CBSE curriculum for your grade or subject. Understand the topics, chapters, and concepts that you need to study.
3. Create a study schedule: Plan your study time effectively by creating a schedule. Allocate specific time slots for each subject and stick to the schedule to ensure a balanced approach to your studies.
4. Take thorough notes: During classes, make it a habit to take detailed and organized notes. Summarize the main points, key concepts, and important examples. These notes will be valuable during revision.
5. Practice regularly: Practice is crucial for understanding and retaining what you learn. Solve sample papers, previous years' question papers, and CBSE-specific study materials to enhance your knowledge and exam preparation.
6. Seek clarification: If you have any doubts or questions, don't hesitate to ask your teachers or classmates. Clarifying your doubts promptly will ensure a better understanding of the subject matter.
7. Use additional resources: Apart from your textbooks, explore supplementary study materials such as reference books, online resources, and educational websites. These resources can provide additional explanations and examples to reinforce your understanding.
8. Maintain a healthy routine: Ensure you get enough sleep, eat nutritious meals, and engage in physical activities. A healthy lifestyle positively impacts your concentration, memory, and overall well-being.
9. Set goals and track progress: Set realistic goals for yourself, both short-term and long-term. Break down your goals into smaller milestones and regularly assess your progress. Celebrate your achievements along the way, and make adjustments if necessary.
10. Revise and review: Regularly revise the topics you have covered. Reviewing previous lessons helps reinforce your understanding and improves long-term retention.
11. Manage exam stress: Develop effective strategies to manage exam stress. Practice relaxation techniques, maintain a positive mindset, and avoid last-minute cramming. Instead, focus on consistent and thorough preparation.
12. Stay organized: Keep your study materials, notes, and assignments organized. Use folders or digital tools to manage your files, and maintain a clean and clutter-free study environment.
13. Bring his/her School Diary to the School everyday.
14. Come to the School clean, well groomed and in proper uniform with polished shoes.
15. Remain regular in attendance and never come late to the School.
16. Attend morning prayers and other School activities.
17. Bring all the text books and the writing materials required for the day.
18. Ensure that his/her name, class, subject etc. are marked on his/her books, exercise books, tiffin box, water bottle etc.
19. Be ready to pick up good habits and shun bad ones: learn the social manners and prepare himself/herself for healthy citizenship in a democratic society.
20. Participate in sports; learn sportsmanship.
21. Remember that the school is run for his/her improvement and growth he/she should and always be willing to respect its discipline and rules framed for the purpose.
22. Look after the School property; help to keep it clean and avoid all pencil/ink marks on the walls and furniture.
23. Keep his/her class room clean; throw waste paper into the waste paper baskets only.
24. Insist on his/her parents to sign his/her school Diary daily and also the Examination Report Card within three days of its receipt.
25. Observe complete silence in the Library and follow LIBRARY RULES.
26. Bring BUS PASS/IDENTITY CARD regularly and follow safety rules properly.
27. Not bring valuables like costly watches and gold ornaments to School.
28. Be ready to lend a helping hand at home to parents, brothers and sister, at School teacher and companies.
29. Obey House Prefects, Class Monitors and other students on duty.
30. Not leave the school during working hours unless the authorised person whose signature, certified by the parents in the diary, comes in person to make the request.
31. Cultivate at least one hobby and participate in at least two co- curricular activities in a year.
32. Play at least two games and learn all its rules..
33. Analyse and make a detailed study programme for himself/ herself.
34. Take help from teachers to learn his/her lessons well.
25. Read the whole question paper carefully, think and then start writing & follow the Examination Rules property.
36. Be courteous, respectful to parents teachers & other school staff, visitors.
37. Not hesitable to contact the Principal, if there is any difficulty.
